THE RETINA INSTITUTE is the premier New Orleans medical and micro-surgical center for retinal eye disorders including diabetic retinopathy, macular edema, hypertensive retinopathy, macular degeneration, retinal vein occlusions, macular holes, epiretinal membranes (macular pucker or cellophane maculopathy), and retinal detachments.

Dr. Ebrahim is a Vitreo-Retinal Micro-Surgeon -- M.D. Georgetown School of Medicine in Washington, D.C. -- Lab of Nobel Laureate C. Gadjusek at the National Institutes of Health -- Chief Fellow & Retinal Surgery degree from Dr. G. Peyman, the most published retinal specialist in history -- Clinical Adjunct Professor at Tulane School of Medicine since 2003 -- Founded THE RETINA INSTITUTE in 2005.
